Base London Shoes have been making great footwear since 1995 when they launched their iconic 'slacker' moccasin. The idea at the time was that there was not a good formal brand for men on the market. Blokes traditionally went to the likes of Dolcis or Ravel to buy their shoes and there wasn't a yound cool brand to buy that offered the sort of exclusivity that the sports brands like Adidas and Nike were offering. The range started with just a few shoes, the first of which was the Patrick Cox Wannabe inspired 'Base London Slacker' moccasin.

This shoe was a roaring success and gave the brand the kind of financial foothold it needed to go on and develop a much more comprehensive collection of easy to wear footwear that the average man in the street could afford.The range has grown over the years to include formal and leisure shoes for any occasion, so what ever your caper you are bound to find a pair of Base Shoes to suit.
